Umauma Falls is a beautiful set of tiered waterfalls located on the northeastern part of the Big Island of Hawaii. If you are traveling the island and going to Akaka Falls State Park, it is worth stopping by and seeing Umauma Falls.
If you are traveling from the resorts, you will head around the northern tip of the island and before you reach Hilo you will reach Umauma Falls. If you are interested in attractions such as this, there are a lot of great tours. You can zipline over the falls, ATV near the falls, horseback near them, and so much more. Or you can pay a minimal fee to walk around the falls. Weather you choose to spend half a day on a tour or just want to stop by and walk the falls, it is a great place to stop if you are touring the Big Island of Hawaii.
