The Christmas season is always the busiest time of year at Waikoloa Beach Resort. Due to this, many of the hotels and restaurants book up fast and try to have special offerings to accommodate as many people as possible. We just wanted to give you a few pointers for this upcoming season at Waikoloa Beach Resort.
1- December 24- January 3 is the time period that the island will be the busiest. If you are coming during then you will want to be sure to reserve your dining well in advance. If you do not get the restaurant that you are looking for, continue to check with them Unfortunately some people book multiple reservations in advance and then cancel last minT
2- This year the Hilton Waikoloa will be doing their Christmas dishes at Kamuela Provision Company and Nui Italian. These will book up fast. While the Hilton Waikoloa is the most convenient, almost every restaurant on the island has a special Christmas day menu so you are sure to find something that works for you. If you do not find something that works for you, the Hilton Waikoloa will be doing a Christmas luau at 5pm.
3- THE FIREWORKS ARE BACK!!!! For New Year’s the Hilton Waikoloa will have a firework show at 9pm over the salt water lagoon. This has always been a big hit in the years past. Leading up to that there will be a luau at the lagoon lanai from 6-10pm. They will also offer live entertainment at the Kona Tap Room until midnight. If you are not staying at the Hilton Waikoloa more than likely you will be able to see the fireworks from other locations. While it may not be the same this year, in years past one of the best placed to watch the show was on the golf course that fronts Halii Kai and some guests may even have a great show from their lanai at Halii kai.
4- If you are a repeat visitor of the island and are planning to enjoy one of your favorite dishes at a restaurant you may want to look into what they will be offering on their menu. Some restaurants have a price fix menu and do not offer many of their favorite dishes.
These are just a few of the things going on and helpful tips. Waikoloa Beach Resort is a great place to spend Christmas in Hawaii and weather you are staying at one of the hotels or shopping at one of the shopping centers, there will be plenty of Christmas flare.
