If you are looking for a restaurant in a perfect location, Lava Lava Beach Club is the place. This restaurant is nestled on the white sands of A’Bay at Waikoloa Beach Resort. It became such a popular location that in the summer of 2023 there was a need for a small renovation in order to fit more capacity.
While seating capacity has increased, Lava Lava Beach Club is so popular that you may still have to wait if you go to dine there. There is a nice lawn area just off the restaurant that includes games such as a bean bag toss for the kids and a bar area for the adults so they can have a cocktail while they eat.
Lava Lava Beach Club is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
For the most part the breakfast menu has traditional offerings. The menu includes french toast, omelets, pancakes, avocado toast, loco moco (a famous Hawaiian breakfast), and much more. This is a great place to spend your morning having breakfast.
For lunch there is a wide selection. A favorite dish is the sizzling shrimp. For the main courses there are burgers, fish and chips, baby back ribs, and much more.
While Lava Lava Beach Club does offer a great dinner menu, one of the best things to do is to enjoy a few cocktails and some appetizers while watching the sunset. A’Bay at Waikoloa Beach Resort offers some of the best sunsets. On the dinner menu you will find a lot of the same items as the lunch menus with the addition of some dishes such as a steak or an ahi fillet.
If you are dining at Lava Lava Beach Club the entrance for parking is just off the Queens Shops. If you are staying at Kolea or the Waikoloa Beach Marriott then the restaurant is just a short stroll down the beach.
*****While Lava Lava Beach Club did add dining capacity, it is one of the most popular restaurants in Waikoloa Beach Resort so still do expect a wait prior to being seated. Also expect a limit to dining time that you can spend there. Due to the high demand, they do not allow you to just spend the entire evening or lunch at a table.
