This event will include polynesian cuisine, exquisite cocktails, live music, storytelling, as well as Hula and fire dancing. The featured entrees will include Tahitian Style Poke with Coconut and Lime, Slow Roasted Honey Glazed Ham, and Star Anise and Hoisin Scented Beef Short-Ribs. Merriman’s “Big Island” Waimea will be open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to serve a delectable prix fixe holiday dinner. Adults are $125/per person and children are $35/per child, dinner will be from 2:00 pm- 8:00 pm. Merriman’s will be showcasing a special menu for dinner but have not yet announced what items it will include. Regardless, you will have an exquisite meal as Merriman’s prides itself on a 90% locally sourced award winning menu featuring fresh produce, meat, seafood, and fish. Pueos Osteria will be open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to serve its patrons a tasty holiday meal. Dinner service is from 5:00 pm- 9:00 pm with the bar open till 11:00 pm. On both days Pueos will feature a four course meal priced at $89/per person. The Christmas Eve menu will feature food items such as zuppa de pesce, clam toast, charred spanish octopus, grilled island ahi, cacciucco, shellfish cannelloni, tiramisu, cannoli, and limoncello panna cotta. Some of the items featured on Christmas Day will be pasta e fagioli, burrata caprese, oysters florentine, beef carpaccio, osso bucco, crab crusted fresh catch, house gnocchi and truffles, and lemon ricotta cake.
