Black Friday

Friday, November 25, 2022 | Queens’ Marketplace

Starting at 10:00 am the first 50 shoppers at the Queens’ Marketplace will receive a $10 gift card to Starbucks when you spend $100 or more at its shops. You must show your receipts at the Coronation Pavilion to redeem. KWXX (101.5FM) will also be broadcasting live from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at the Coronation Pavilion.

 

Lakeside Mini Golf

Every Friday-Sunday | 4:00-8:00 pm

Enjoy your evening at the Lakeside Mini Golf course available for the whole family. The professionally designed nine-hole putting course will have even the most skilled practicing. Weekly Hula

Every Wednesday | 6:00-7:00 pm | Coronation Pavilion, Queens’ Marketplace

Support a local halau as they perform a free one hour hula show for you. The performance showcases both kahiko (traditional) and modern forms of hula to tell the ancient stories of Hawaii.

 

Monthly Concert Series

Every third Saturday of the month the Queens’ Marketplace hosts a live concert with music from a wide range of musical talents such as traditional Hawaiian and island music to rock, jazz, and the blues. This month we are blessed with the talented Maka Gallinger, don’t miss out on this fun and free event!

 

Lei Making Workshop

First Friday of the Month | 6:00-7:00 pm | Coronation Pavilion, Queens’ Marketplace

This event is on a first come, first served basis and is limited to 15 persons. Join the lovely kumus (instructors) as you make your very own Puakalaunu (crown flower) lei. A lei in Hawai’i represents a non-verbal expression of aloha such as love, respect, joy, a welcomed greeting, and many more. In Hawai’i the crown flower resembles the royal crown as it was widely known as Queen Liliuokalani’s favorite blossom. The crown flower is also the logo of the Queens’ Marketplace.

 

Thanksgiving

Thursday, November 24 | Hilton Waikoloa Village

Looking for a Thanksgiving dinner? The Hilton Waikoloa Village has three dining options for you. Kamuela Provision Company will be serving diestel ranch turkey with mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, cranberry compote, gravy, and coconut butternut squash soup. Nui Italian’s menu will feature fig and bacon flatbread, turkey pappardelle with maitake mushrooms, crab cioppino with Kona prawns calamari, clams, mussels, scallops and local fish in tomato garlic white wine broth with crispy bread and saffron aioli, and a pumpkin spice budino dessert. The resort’s annual Thanksgiving Luau will feature heirloom pumpkin soup, slow roasted turkey with sage gravy, cranberry orange compote, along with additional holiday entrees, and traditional luau dishes.
