Weekly Hula Performance

Support a local halau as they perform a free one hour hula show for you. The performance showcases both kahiko (traditional) and modern forms of hula to tell the ancient stories of Hawaii.
Kanikapila Monthly Concert Series
Every third Saturday of the Month | 6:00 pm | Coronation Pavilion, Queens’ Marketplace
Every third Saturday of the month the Queens’ Marketplace hosts a live concert with music from a wide range of musical talents such as traditional Hawaiian and island music to rock, jazz, and the blues. This month we are blessed with the talented Gary Washburn and the Honoka’a Jazz Band, don’t miss out on this fun and free event!
Lei Making Workshop
First Friday of the Month | 6:00-7:00 pm | Coronation Pavilion, Queens’ Marketplace
This event is on a first come, first served basis and is limited to 15 persons. Join the lovely kumus (instructors) as you make your very own Puakalaunu (crown flower) lei. A lei in Hawai’i represents a non-verbal expression of aloha such as love, respect, joy, a welcomed greeting, and many more. In Hawai’i the crown flower resembles the royal crown as it was widely known as Queen Liliuokalani’s favorite blossom. The crown flower is also the logo of the Queens’ Marketplace.
Makeke Ma Ke Kai Night Market
Second and Fourth Friday of the Month | Kings’ Shops
Join in on the holiday festivities at the Kings’ Shops on December 9th and 23rd, 2022. This new monthly night market features live music, food trucks and various vendors. You will not want to miss this opportunity to buy your loved ones a gift!
Holidays at the Hilton
Now through New Year’s Eve | Hilton Waikoloa Village
The Hilton has an array of special holiday events going on now through New Year’s Eve. The resort will feature special holiday Luau buffets on Christmas and New Year’s Eve with holiday entrees and local classic dishes. Kamuela Provision Company and Nui Italian will feature special holiday menus. Bask in the holiday lights and decorations found throughout the resort. For guests staying at the Hilton, enjoy their special holiday activities such as gingerbread decorating, elf scavenger hunts, hot chocolate, candy canes, Santa at the main lagoon, live music at Kona Tap Room, and daily pool parties with a live DJ. If you are staying at Kolea you will want to be sure to use your day pass and spend a day here. They do a great job of decorating the hotel.
Special Holiday Sunset Luau

The Waikoloa Marriott Resort & Spa will feature special holiday luaus this season. The Christmas Eve Luau will feature 12 days of Hawaiian Christmas. The New Year’s Eve Luau will feature sparklers and a champagne toast to kick off the new year. Both luaus will feature special holiday entrees and classic local dishes. You will want to book these well in advance as they always sell out!

The Marriott is celebrating with its guests this holiday season with their beloved Prime Rib + Crab Leg Buffet. They will also have special buffet dinners for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Reservations are highly encouraged as these events sell out quickly.
