All guests at the Mauna Lani get access to the white sand beach that it is nestled upon as well as the two pools. At the beach you will find resort style lounge chairs as well as beach service staff to take care of you. The waters off this beach are very calm and great for snorkeling. This area is one of the best areas on the island to snorkel if you are interested in seeing sea turtles. Closer to the main area of the hotel is one of the pools. This resort style pool is large and offers a large jacuzzi. Find nice lounge chairs surrounding the pool and take in the amazing views. Just off of this pool is a nice grassy area that is great for children to play at and there are a selection of games found here. Nestled away from the main pool is an infinity pool that is best suited for adults. This pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and also offers an amazing view.
For those that enjoy good dining options, the Mauna Lani will not disappoint. The CanoeHouse has been one of the top restaurants on the island for decades. The CanoeHouse is on an oceanfront setting and offers indoor as well as outdoor seating. While the outdoor seating offers great ambiance, the indoors seating has casual couch style dining, which is a great option. There is a nice sized bar with seating inside as well. Featuring a selection of farm to table restaurants, you will need to dine here a few times to taste all the amazing dishes. Often times they also offer a four course dinner and this never disappoints. If you are not looking for fine dining, HaLani is the other option. HaLani is the primary place for breakfast and lunch and also is open for dinner. For the most part you will find open air covered seating here and it flows out to the lawn area near the pool with more casual seating there. For breakfast they offer a traditional breakfast buffet, for lunch your standard lunch offerings including local fish, and for dinner more casual local ohana style dishes. If you are looking for something fast, The Market is located within the main hotel and offers quick grab and go food that is great for breakfast or a fast snack. The Surf Shack is located between the beach and pool on the lawn area and also offers a small selection of food and beverages that is a nice spot to grab a quick bite to eat.
For those with children between the ages of 5-12, there is the Holoholo Kids Crew club. Children that attend this club get to experience a lot of fun aspects of Hawaii including gardening, fishing, and tidepooling amongst other things.
The Mauna Lani Resort features two world class golf courses that weave amongst the black lava rocks and private homes and some of the holes have spectacular settings right on the ocean. Guests of the Mauna Lani have access to these two courses.
