Kolea 9K Description

Easily accessible, Kolea 9K is a three bedroom two bath villa situated on the ground floor. The entryway hall has an elegant mahogany niche with dual mirrors. The lush garden view of plumeria and hisbiscus flowers can be seen through the lanai doors, and these panels are easily slid into a hidden pocket to invite the tropical air into the villa. The tiled lanai features a wet bar set in granite and teak, complete with a stainless steel barbecue grill, sink and outdoor refrigerator. An outdoor wicker table set has seating for four to sit amongst the blossoming beauty of the lush landscaping.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and stainless steel appliances. The multi level granite countertop has two contoured saddle stools for casual dining. The nearby dining room table seats six under an elegant soffit ceiling. Recessed and pendant lighting are on dimmer controls for your preferred settings. The living area is furnished with a sectional couch and chaise. The flat screen television is accompanied by a dvd/cd player on an antique asian styled stand. Ceiling fans are located in each bedroom as well as the living room. A full size washer and dryer are available in the laundry room.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed centered between matching nightstands, a television tucked away in a bamboo armoire and a small desk. A large painting of a delicate orchid spray will remind you why this island is fondly referred to as the Orchid Isle. The master bath features dual vanities set in a cream colored travertine countertop and lighting protruding from a large mirror. Handheld shower wands are added in both the walk in shower and deep soaking tub.

There are two guest bedrooms. The first is furnished with a queen bed, dresser, oriental nightstands and a television with a built in dvd player. A wooden framed mirror with integrated bamboo trim adds a classy touch. The second guest bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, dresser and a large glass top corner table. A television with a built in dvd player is also included. The guest bathroom has an oversized mirror, vanity and a shower tub with pure sunlight pouring in through a high window.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel prior to the rent being paid, the deposit is lost. If you cancel after the rent is paid, you are only refunded the rent if we are able to rebook the villa.

    We had a wonderful time staying at Kolea 9K.Thanks to both Rob and Wendee for being so flexible, early check in, late checkout and a place we would definitely stay in on our return to Waikoloa. The villa had everything we needed and was beautiful. We would highly recommend this villa to everyone.

    We stayed in Kolea 9K and had a wonderful experience. The unit was spacious and comfortable. The grounds were immaculate and the amenities were wonderful. We loved the location and would consider returning on our next trip to the Big Island.

    We really enjoyed our Christmas stay at Kolea 9K, the layout of the unit worked perfectly. We loved opening up the large sliding glass doors and relaxing and barbequing out on the lanai. It was a nice, central location in the complex with a real short walk to the pool, fitness area and beach, and a quick stroll over to the Hilton, Mariott, and King/Queens shops. We give both the unit 9K and the Kolea complex a high reccommendation. Our family was sad to leave and would love to return!

    Our family of seven enjoyed our nine day stay at the Kolea 9K so much, that we are hoping to return next year!! The layout of 9K suited us perfectly, giving each of us our own space and yet allowed us to come together and enjoy each other as a family in the main living area and on the porch for meal time. The pool and beach were so accessible, that we didn't ever have to venture off to another part of the island to find a decent location to snorkel and enjoy the ocean. We loved how we were walking distance to the King/Queens shopping centers and to the Hilton Hotel, where we enjoyed the Sunday brunch. We HIGHLY recommend Kolea 9K to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, family-friendly layout, with well suited amentities. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!

    This is our 3rd visit to Kolea 9K. We absolutely LOVE the unit. Rob has been extremely accommodating with late check out and all of our needs while in Hawaii. The unit is beautiful, always clean, spacious and has fantastic amenities. The location of Kolea is great! It’s close to everything and with the new Island Gourmet Market at the Queen’s shops (walking distance) you don’t ever need to leave Waikoloa! This is our favorite and only place we stay while on the Big Island. We highly recommend it to everyone!
