You know the winter has arrived at Hali’i Kai when the surf is up and there are whale sightings. Having managed condos in almost every complex on the Kohala Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii I get to enjoy some of the great things each property has to offer while working. There is nothing I enjoy more than to walk in to one of our villas at Halii Kai in the winter months and seeing the whales frollick in the ocean and well as watching the waves crash in to lava rocks. Halii Kai 14G is an oceanfront villa and offers an unobstructed panoramic view of the ocean. You can actually hear the whales from this villa and feel the mist of the crashing waves. Any of the villas in building 12 give you the opportunity to not only enjoy the crashing waves, but to also watch the waves roll in as you are watching golf and the whales. The Halii Kai Ocean Club gives you the same great view that Halii kai 14G does and when the whales are out people can spend hours on the bluff that the Ocean Club is located on watching the whales.
