The week of Thanksgiving is one of the busier weeks of the year at Waikoloa Beach Resort so the resort goes the extra mile to make sure all the guests within the resort can truly still enjoy Thanksgiving away from home. We wanted to provide a helpful hints to get the most out of your Thanksgiving at Waikoloa Beach Resort.
Stay In a Vacation Rental
If you truly are one that likes the full experience of Thanksgiving including cooking your meal, eating in a private setting, watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, and more the best place to do it from is a vacation rental.
Properties such at Kolea have some large kitchens that are fully stocked for all of your cooking needs, have a dining area that seats up to 10 when you include the indoor and outdoor dining areas, and has a large television within sight from both areas making for the perfect set up.
If you want to enjoy a vacation rental, but don’t want to cook there is an option for that. The Waikoloa Beach Marriott will be making to go meals for 6-8 people for $299. Various hotels have made these in the past and they are a big hit. Typically you pick them up individually packaged with warming instructions and all you have to do is simply warm the food when you are ready to eat. We have had great feedback on these in the past! Call 808-886-3604 prior to November 21 to reserve your meal.
Thanksgiving at the Hilton Waikoloa
If you are one that does not want to go through all the work of preparing a Thanksgiving meal, the Hilton Waikoloa has several offerings. First, they will offer a Thanksgiving evening luau with a special selection of foods to include all of your favorite Thanksgiving foods. Second, if you would like something more formal you can dine at the Kamuela Provisional Company, which is situated on the ocean. We highly recommend if this is the route you want to go to reserve a table well in advance as it will sell out. They will be offering a specialized Thanksgiving menu as well to include some of your favorite Thanksgiving dishes. You can also dine at their Italian restaurant, Nui Italian. While they will have some Thanksgiving offerings with Italian flare to it, for the most part it will be an Italian cuisine there.
Thanksgiving at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott
On Thanksgiving evening, enjoy a Thanksgiving buffet at their Hawaii Calls restaurant. In the past the buffets have been great and offer a lot of options. This is likely to sell out as well so you will want to reserve a table in advance. The cost is $109 for adults.
While the Waikoloa Beach Marriott will not have a luau on Thanksgiving day, we highly recommend enjoying one of their luaus on either Monday or Wednesday.
Whichever route you go, you are sure to enjoy your Thanksgiving at Waikoloa Beach Resort!
