This Christmas and New Years will be different than many in the past years. In past years, Hualalai Resort was the only resort that there holiday offerings were exclusive to guests stay at that resort. This year other resorts such as the Mauna Lani Resort will have the same policy in place. This will make the few offerings available to vacation rental guests a lot less than prior years and they are sure to book up so we recommend reserving something well in advance. The great news is all of these offerings are a short walk away from your Waikoloa vacation rental.
Christmas Offerings
Hilton Waikoloa

The Hilton Waikoloa definitely does a great job at being the best decorated hotel on the island. Make sure to stop by and check out all the beautiful decorations in the hotel lobby!
All of the restaurants at the Hilton Waikoloa will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and offer limited options of their standard menus as well as holiday offerings. All of these typically book up well in advance.
They will have a specialty Christmas Day luau from 5:30-8:15pm. The rates are $240 for an adult and $124 for children. Guests enjoying the luau will enjoy a traditional luau culminating with a fire dancer. There also is an open bar with a buffet of some traditional Hawaiian dishes as well as some Christmas dinner favorites. This is also very popular so if you do choose to go to the luau you will want to show up early to avoid waiting in line. For larger luaus like this, we recommend taking advantage of the Alii seating, which is $30/person more.
Waikoloa Beach Marriott
The Waikoloa Beach Marriott will of a Christmas Day Dinner Buffer at their Hawaii Calls Restaurant from 4:30-8:30pm. This buffet will include some of their traditional favorites as well as some Christmas items such as gingerbread pumpkin rolls. The cost is $135 for adults and $72 for children.

New Years Offerings
Hilton Waikoloa

For the best New Years experience in the Waikoloa Beach Resort you will want to attend the New Year’s Eve Luau Under the Stars at the Lagoon Lanai from 6-10pm. This will feature a traditional luau show along with a traditional luau buffet followed by fireworks. Guests will also receive New Years party favors. The cost is $295 for adults and $168 for children.
Waikoloa Beach Marriott
The Waikoloa Beach Marriott will be offering a New Year’s Eve Dinner Buffet at their Hawaii Calls Restaurant from 5-9pm. This will include a carving board with prime rib and crispy skin suckling pig amongst many of their other favorite items. The cost is $169 for adults and $85 for children.
