For years, there were only three vacation rental complexes at Mauna Lani Resort; the Mauna Lani Terrace, the Point at Mauna Lani, and the Islands at Mauna Lani. In the last two decades there has been a lot of expansion with now over a dozen different communities to stay in from luxury homes to more reasonably priced vacation rental complexes.
After all was built, the Mauna Lani Terrace still stands alone as our favorite vacation rental complex at Mauna Lani Resort. That being said, it is the oldest complex so if you choose to stay there, you will want to make sure you choose an upgraded vacation rental.
Its location is tough to beat. It is nestled behind some Hawaiian fishponds with endless ocean views in the background. It is also nestled between two beaches at Mauna Lani offering easy access to both. Each building at the Mauna Lani Terrace offers a unique view so weather you want a pure ocean view, a view or the ponds, or a view of ancient petroglyphs, there is something for everyone at the Mauna Lani Terrace.
Structurally it is one of the better built complexes at Mauna Lani Resort ensuring that you enjoy a peaceful stay inside your vacation rental. Overall you do not hear the guests above or below you due to the good construction. The Mauna Lani Terrace offers a nice upgraded pool area that is set out on a nice lawn area with ocean views. There is nice seating around a large pool with a kids pool as well as a jacuzzi. If you want to take a dip in the ocean, it is not far away.
