Mauna Lani Golf Courses

About ten minutes north of the Waikoloa Beach Resort is the Mauna Lani Resort, which offers two beautiful golf selections, the Mauna Lani North and South Courses. Between the two venues thirty-six holes of championship golf are provided for both avid and novice players.

The Mauna Lani North Course highlights rolling terrain and Kiawe (mesquite) forests which is very different from the Mauna Lani South Course. This selection has one of the most photographed over water greens in the world that you will find on the covers of many of the top golf magazines in the world.  The South Course has been home to the senior skins game for over 10 years.

The resort also offers a keiki, or children’s, course great for families looking to play some golf without the need to be on the championship courses. Special rates are available for this experience and often times include juniors golfing for free with an adult in the afternoon hours.

There is a pro shop for guests that has just about everything you may need in the event you choose to travel light and not bring your clubs.  Also you choose to have a caddy if you desire.  Across from the pro shop is a place to stop and grab a quick lunch or cocktail after enjoying a round of golf.

If you are looking for a place to stay near these fabulous courses, the Mauna Lani Terrace is a great option.  The Mauna Lani Terrace is a beachfront condo complex that offers 1, 2, and 3 bedroom vacation rentals.  Guests of the Mauna Lani Terrace can play golf at these two championship golf courses.  Mauna Lani is also home to two world class hotels, the Fairmont Orchid and the Mauna Lani by Auberge.  Guests of both hotels get access to these courses.
