Where is Kolea located within the Waikoloa Beach Resort?

 

Kolea is centrally located within the Waikoloa Beach Resort, allowing easy access to all the amenities.  It is located between the Hilton and Marriott hotels and fronts on Anaeho’omalu Bay (A Bay), which is the only beach in the Waikoloa Beach Resort.

Following is a map for location and proximity.  Because it is a Google map, it is somewhat outdated (all construction is now completed within the Resort) but gives you an idea of distances to each location from Kolea.

How far is the beach from Kolea?

 

Kolea is the only beachfront vacation rental complex at the Waikoloa Beach Resort.  It shares the beach with the Marriott.  This beach is accessible to everyone in the resort and spans close to a mile in length.  The Kolea Beach Club offers direct access.  If you are staying in Building 8 or one of the buildings behind the Kolea Beach Club then you are a minute away.  Kolea is a fairly small property so even if you are staying in Building 16, you are still just a 5 minute walk away.

How is housekeeping handled?

 

There is no housekeeping service included during your stay.  When renting through Waikoloa Vacation Rentals, the villa is cleaned after your departure at no additional charge.  If you do desire a service cleaning during your stay it can be scheduled for an additional fee, which typically ranges from $50 to $100, depending on the size of the villa.

What is supplied with our villa?

 

We try to stock our villas with all the amenities you will need during your stay.  We want to be able to tell our guests “All you need to bring are your clothes!”  Our amenities include bath products, toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen supplies, and laundry soap.  To find out about specific items, check the “amenities section” of each of villa’s web page (www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos).

What are the check-in and check-out procedures?

 

Check in time is 4 PM and check out time is 10 AM.  When your rent payment is processed, we will send an information packet which includes directions and key instruction. All the villas have a key lock box so the code is included in the packet to get the key out of the box.  Additional keys are in the villa.

Can you use the Hilton or Marriott facilities while staying at Kolea?

 

Guests of Waikoloa Vacation Rentals staying at Kolea have access to the amenities at The Hilton Waikoloa at no additional charge. Click here to view more info on the program. The Marriott allows Kolea guests to dine at their restaurants, use their spa, and tour their property, but they do not allow Kolea guests to use their pools.

Are beach toys in the villa?

 

None of our villas come stocked with beach toys.  Over the course of time, many guests have purchased beach toys that they have left behind in the villas including beach mats, snorkel gear, and boogie boards.  I would recommend checking to see what is in the villa before you purchase any of these items.

What is your cancellation policy?

 

If you cancel after the deposit is paid, you lose the deposit.  If you cancel after the rent is paid, you lose the rent unless we are able to rebook the property.  We highly recommend our guests consider travel insurance when making the reservation. The cost is roughly 6.95% of the rent and tax.  Just let us know if you would like it included.  If you book online, our reservation system allows you to accept or decline travel insurance (www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/travel-insurance.pdf).

How is the payment process handled?

 

The deposit is processed at the time of booking.  The rent is processed 60 days prior to your arrival.  Within ten days of your departure, we will refund the deposit if there are no damages or excessive cleaning fees. Since the deposit is refundable, it is not applied to the total rent amount when it is processed.

Do you have rollaway beds, cribs, and high chairs available?

 

These items are available for an additional fee.  We will need advance notice so we can arrange to have these items in your villa when you arrive. The fee will be charged to your credit card on file.
