kolea 10a villa

Kolea 10A Description

This luxury villa possesses the convenience of a ground floor with the beauty of an ocean and beach view. The entire villa has been upgraded with a distributed audio system. The living area is furnished with comfortable couches that not only face a big screen LCD television, but also showcases the view of the blue waters of Anaeho’omalu Bay.

The tropical dining table seats six and three cushioned swivel stools are positioned at the multi level granite island. These seats offer casual kitchen dining under a pair of dimming pendant lights. The kitchen appliances are all stainless steel and contrast beautifully against the rich African Mahogany woodwork. Chill your spirits in the Viking wine cooler, which is elegantly displayed through the glass door.

The lanai doors are six glass panels that completely hide within a pocket when opened. This allows you to enjoy the warm air and ocean breeze without stepping outside of the villa. The large lanai includes a wet bar with a barbecue grill, sink and outdoor beverage center. Cookout beside the lush garden at a table for four or relax on the two lounge chairs with ottomans. Just within the lanai doors, a mechanical privacy screen descends from the soffit ceiling at a touch of a button to provide you with solitude.

The master bedroom is outfitted with a king size bed, multiple dressers, cushioned chairs, an armoire and television with a built in DVD/VHS player. There is also a desk area for those that need to work. Folding louvered mahogany doors open the master bedroom to the master bath. Here you can bask in the therapeutic warm waters of the deep soaking roman tub. The adjacent walk in shower is encased in glass and includes a natural stone bench. Dual vanity sinks are set in travertine with dimming lights protruding from the oversized mirror. Just beyond the vanities is a spacious walk in closet with a built in koa dresser.

The first guest bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and also features a gorgeous koa built in dresser. The private guest bath is designed of travertine including the vanity countertop and completely through the walk in shower. The shower has been upgraded with a glass enclosure and a stone corner bench.

The second guest bedroom has another queen size bed with bedside tables. The third full bath is centrally located within the villa with a vanity and tub/shower.

A full size washer, dryer and large sink are available in the laundry room.

Kolea 10A was beautiful in every way. Our family of four felt completely spoiled as we sat on the open lanai looking toward the ocean while our son was able to run on the grass. The pool and beach were directly across from the unit making it convenient to run back and forth with lunch. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and everything was clean and stocked with basics (paper towels, soap, etc. so we didn't have to run out right away to get them. We enjoyed every relaxing moment! The pool rules were a bit strict for children (no toys, flotation devices or hot tub access for kids) but there was a nice children's pool as well which was ideal for kids 5 and under. It was generally very quiet at the pool (good for some who desire that). There were no umbrellas by the pool so you are either out in full sun or set back at the pool house. It was a bit tricky with an infant who needed shade and a 4 yr old who always wanted to be in the pool. We had the same issue with the beach although we expected that a bit more. Kolea was in a great location and the grounds overall were beautiful and well kept. We will definitely seek out this unit again if we return to Kolea. Waikola Beach Rentals (Rob) made everything easy and were wonderful to work with. I would also use them again without hesitation.

From the second we walked into Kolea 10A, we were in heaven. Seriously a great condo location for kids. Being on the ground floor, we had a large enough yard in front of our unit, where we could all hang out and enjoy the view and the sites. The large lanai was a perfect place to watch the sunset. The condo was supplied with very high quality furnishings, appliances and kitchen equipment. And it was stocked with all the very basic necessities. When we return to the Big Island, we will for sure return to Kolea. It was within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops and even the 2 other hotels (Hilton and Marriot). Kolea was a very short walk to A-Bay where we spent many hours enjoying the calm water, green sea turtles and kayaks. The pool was delightfully calm. And the best part, Rob, the property manager, was always available for our ridiculous barrage of questions we provided. He was so helpful and definitely made our trip so easy. Thanks for a great trip!

Kolea 10A was even more beautiful than we had imagined from the pictures on the website. As noted above, the furnishings were very high quality and the unit was well stocked - we even found beach towels for our off-site adventures and laundry detergent for the washer (and dryer). Not mentioned on the website is that the office has a sofa sleeper, which is a plus for some. The location in the complex was perfect - having a ground floor unit makes the lanai feel larger than if you had a balcony lanai. It is right across the street from the pool and the path to the beach; we did not have to drive there as others did. (FYI, the pool now has umbrellas if you need shade). The views toward the water are amazing, and you are surrounded by beautiful, well-maintained landscape. The Waikoloa amenities are great - it's a good home base for exploring the Big Island, there are many shops nearby (including a grocery store), and you have easy access to restaurants and 2 hotels (with their amenities). We were 2 couples and a teen, but there were many families with young children around. This unit/location would be suitable for anyone, and we hope to return here in the future. I would recommend Waikoloa Beach Rentals without hesitation.

Our stay was the most Fantastic Vacation we ever had. Everything from the view to the air we were breathing was pure heaven. Hopefully we will be back soon....(Hint, Hint) I highly recommend going to Captin Cook and Sea Kyaking! It was the best. My husband and I enjoyed every moment of it. Snorkleing is the best and horse back riding! Have fun, Daniel and Robin Slayden December 16 to January 3 10A

Kolea 10 A was absolutely perfect. The unit is clean, modern, well stocked with necessities and in excellent condition. The location to the pool and beach is great, in fact all units would have great access. The view is awesome, you see the ocean but do not hear it, my preference. Also get to enjoy lush vegetation scenery. This was the third Hawaiian Island we have been to and we thought it was the best if you prefer quite, mininmal crowds, yet ample amenities and excursions. No shopping like Oahu but tons of solitude and relaxation. I would strongly recommend Waikola Vacation Rentals. Rob always responded extremely prompt to our questions from the time we were looking to book till the day we left. I will definetly use WVR whhen we return.
