The layout of 9K suited us perfectly, giving each of us our own space and yet allowed us to come together and enjoy each other as a family in the main living area and on the porch for meal time. The pool and beach were so accessible, that we didn't ever have to venture off to another part of the island to find a decent location to snorkel and enjoy the ocean. We loved how we were walking distance to the King/Queens shopping centers and to the Hilton Hotel, where we enjoyed the Sunday brunch. We HIGHLY recommend Kolea 9K to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, family-friendly layout, with well suited amentities. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!! We loved opening up the large sliding glass doors and relaxing and barbequing out on the lanai. It was a nice, central location in the complex with a real short walk to the pool, fitness area and beach, and a quick stroll over to the Hilton, Mariott, and King/Queens shops. We give both the unit 9K and the Kolea complex a high reccommendation. Our family was sad to leave and would love to return! The unit was spacious and comfortable. The grounds were immaculate and the amenities were wonderful. We loved the location and would consider returning on our next trip to the Big Island. The villa had everything we needed and was beautiful. We would highly recommend this villa to everyone.
