    We have stayed at the Kolea condos several times now with the last one being for eight nights in unit 8C starting on May 15, 2009. While all the Kolea units are first class, the penthouse, 8C is the best with its views of the mountains, beach and ocean. Its central location directly across from the clubhouse and pool make it ideal. If you are thinking about a trip to the Big Island, this is the by far the best place to spend your vacation.

    Luxury! Luxury! Luxury! Several friends booked the Kolea penthouse in June, 2009. I must say that I have travelled the world; however, nothing compares to the amenities that this condo has to offer. The views are absolutley spectacular. In fact, it was difficult to get motivated each day due to the sheer beauty and peaceful relaxation that the balcony offered. The unit itself is massive and makes it quite easy for several families to be able to have all of the privacy that is needed. The furnishings are lovely and not one corner has been left without a radiant finsishing touch. The penthouse at Kolea is definitely on my once a yar must stay list.

    We stayed in Kolea 8c in mid March. We cannot say enough positive things about this resort area, the island, the management(Rob Dalton),the condo, 8c in particular. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. I recommend Kolea to anyone. Views were spectacular,shoping was easy , activities endless, relaxation inevitable! It met the needs and dreams of our entire family. We were a group ranging in ages from mid 70’s to mid teens… Thanks for recommending this unit for our family vacation. We will be back hopefully sooner than later. We all miss the lani on kolea 8c.

    We spent a week at Kolea in April. It was our first time to the Big Island and Kolea was highly recommended by friends. They had stayed in a Kolea condo before, but said that if they returned they would stay in building 8. We found 8c and thought that it looked perfect for our family. We booked it and the reservation process went smoothly. When we arrived we were floored. The views and location were way nicer than what was shown on the site or what we imagined. We spent several nights on the large lanai that was spacious enough for all six of us to have dinner on. A few nights they had the tiki torches going by the Beach Club, which is right in front of 8c so it made for a great setting to sit on the lanai. We spent many days at the beach right there and it was great for the kids. I would highly recommend Kolea and Waikoloa Beach Resort and if we returned we would use Waikoloa vacation rental management again. They made sure the condo was well stocked for us and took care of everything we needed during our stay.

    We enjoyed a fabulous week at Kolea 8C in June. Accomdations were great for our family of 6 including kids and grandparents. The unit was exceptional and didn’t lack any amenities and had lots of extras including beach gear, laudry supplies, every conceivable kitchen appliance. Location within the complex was ideal, the lanai views excellent but the sun set too far north in the sky in June to see the sunsets.
