We LOVED 2A! The lanai is situated such that you feel you have the grounds to yourself - I went out there every morning and seldom saw a soul. Nice and close to pool (with helpful concierge) and beach.

Returning to the Big Island, our former home, we knew what we wanted for South Kohala vacation. The Kolea 2A and Waikoloa Vac Man exceeded our expectations. The unit itself is perfect for a family, with its open floor plan, huge functional lanai, and back yard. The Kolea pool area is ideal for all kids, early toddler and up, and the Kolea complex is somewhat secluded from the larger resort bustle. Quick access to A-Bay and plenny shoreline trails is key. Coffee shops, quick groceries, and shopping a walk away. Within 15 minutes of several of our favorite Hawaiian beaches. Weather is reliably dry and warm. Will return in a year or two. Definately well worth the cost if you need two or three bedrooms. WVM were very professional and helpful.

Loved staying at Kolea………great location. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the Hilton, King’s and Queen’s shops and A ~ beach. The unit was great with everything as described and expected. Well appointed and all the conveniences of home!

Hi: My family stayed in 2A. We loved it. We are used to staying at the likes of the Four Seasons or the Fairmont and this easily compared with many features that are better than a hotel. First, its great to have a living room, a lanai with barbeque, a kitchen, multiple bathrooms, and really nice appointments through-out. Car is parked outside, and no need for twenty minute car wait like at a hotel. The gentle breeze and beauty of the place was very relaxing and quiet and very close to all the shopping and dining. Really a walk away. We’ll be back!
